For the last few years I have sat by and watched my grandfather slip further and further away from the man I’ve known my whole life. The man that taught me endless life lessons, the man that taught me how to be a man and raise a family and the man that taught me how to golf. 

On June 24th (and 25th) I will embark on my own challenge to golf 99 holes at Tamarac Golf and Country Club for my grandfather, Don Ziegler.  I know this will not be easy but it does not compare to the challenges he has faced for the past few years.  

My grandfather may be the one who is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but he is not the only one that suffers. Alzheimer’s and Dementia is a disease that affects the entire family and I am raising funds to bring awareness and support to the entire community that fights these battles every day.
