In 2014, Kevin Whitaker, a judge, realizes his brain is no longer working well. The diagnosis is devastating – Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. He steps down from the bench. Marie retires from her civil service position to care for him. Together they embrace his passion for painting, raising almost two hundred thousand dollars for research and support organisations.
