Webinar: Advances in Dementia Research Connecting Heart Rhythms with Physical, Mental & Cognitive Health
Summary Presented by Dr. Linda Mah, this webinar will provide an overview of the relationship between heart rhythms and various aspects of physical, mental and cognitive health, including memory, mood symptoms and other aspects of emotional health. You will have the opportunity to ask questions. About the presenters Dr. Linda Mah is a Senior Clinician Scientist, at the Rotman Research Institute, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. Her research program focuses on 1) the relationship between cognition and emotion in healthy aging and in disorders of the elderly, including late-life depression, mild cognitive impairment, and Alzheimer’s disease, and 2) applying this knowledge to improve diagnosis and treatment of disorders associated with late life.
