Gardening Together with Emma - ONLINE |
Join Emma Rooney, our AST gardener in residence, to get answers to your summer gardening questions and fresh ideas for garden and nature activities that will engage your senses this season. You don’t have to have access to a garden to get inspired and start growing. This 75-minute session is open to everyone and especially designed with care partners in mind. Refresh in the garden and add a little gardening to your wellbeing routine. We’ll also share tips for supporting those living with memory loss to make the most of their time outside and get hands in the dirt. Bring your plants, bring your questions, and join us to get gardening together! For creative activity ideas, we invite you to check out the book "Connecting in the Land of Dementia: Creative Activities to Explore Together" by Deborah Shouse. You’ll find it at the Toronto Public Library. About Emma, AST gardener in residence Emma is a wellness advocate, community programmer, environmentalist, gardener, and foodie.
