TIFF Senior's Film Fridays - Love Story
TIFF Bell Lightbox

In partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), we invite you to a free screening of "Love Story" an all-time favorite directed by Arthur Miller.

A boy called Oliver (Ryan O’Neil) and a girl called Jenny (Ali MacGraw) from different backgrounds fall in love regardless of their upbringing - and then tragedy strikes. Written by Eric Segal, college roommate of former Vice President Al Gore of whom the character of Oliver is loosely based on.

The movie is 1 hour and 40 minutes long and it will be followed by a one-hour discussion over refreshment with one of TIFF's volunteer docents.

Seniors' Film Fridays is funded in part by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program.

COSTFREE, registration is required and includes:

  • Free access to a post screening film talk
  • Complimentary refreshment during the film talk
  • Reimbursement for travel cost may be provided (i.e. TTC senior fare)
