TDRA Webinars: Advances in Dementia Research
Measuring Visual Abilities and Electrical Signals in the Brain for Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease
Thursday, October 10, 2024, 12-1 PM EST

Summary:

Presented by Dr. Eugenie Roudaia, this webinar will explore how vision and visual perception changes with aging and in the presence of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Roudaia will discuss how we can use vision-based tasks and the brain's electrical signals to detect Alzheimer's disease earlier, and predict future cognitive health for individuals experiencing cognitive decline.

Dr. Roudaia will introduce an observational study, for which she is principal investigator, Bright Spark: Measuring Brain Activity to Predict Cognitive Health in MCI & Alzheimer’s Disease
