A Dinner Presentation with Presenting Sponsor Integracare Join us to for a special presentation from Dr. Jennifer Shapiro on the topic of supporting clients living with rarer forms of dementia. Dr. Shapiro completed her medical degree at McMaster University in 2004, and prior to this, received a Masters degree in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. She has worked as the Managing Editor of a health policy quarterly, and then at the Canadian Institute for Health Information, where she managed and helped to produce the first Ontario hospital report card in Acute Care. Dr. Jennifer Shapiro has been working as a Palliative Care physician for the last 10 years throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Eight years ago she moved to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care at Sinai Health System, where she has specialized in home-based care. On March 20th, she will be speaking about her experience supporting clients with rarer forms of dementia, and answering questions from the PSW audience. COST: FREE, registration is required.
