This ongoing support group aims to improve the quality of life of individuals with early stage dementia by providing them with a safe avenue to discuss the emotional impact of being diagnosed and to learn and share coping strategies. Care partners are invited to attend an informal coffee hour in a separate room during the support group.

Learnng Objectives:

• Provides an opportunity for social interaction with other people with dementia in early stages
• Provided a time to lower stress and anxiety by speaking to other people with dementia about challenges and coping strategies
