Little is discussed about the benefits of spiritual care for caregivers and people living with dementia; please join us on October 3^rd to hear from our speakers on how as healthcare professionals they have practiced their faith and supported clients in finding peace and comfort through spirituality. 

Each of the 3 speakers represent:

Judaism: Mindy Halper, a registered nurse, whose career spans over 40 years with direct nursing experience in caring for the elderly.

Islam: Dr. Huma Anjum, who is a medical doctor with 28 years of teaching experience in medical and healthcare fields in Canada and abroad.

Christianity: Dr Kenneth M. Fung, MD, MB., B.Ch, BAO., FRCS (Eng), has been a reseachrer in Thoracic Surgery, a Christian Family Physician and Psychotherapist for 38 years.

Dinner will be served.

COST: FREE, Registration is required. Event is for Personal Support Workers (PSW) and other Frontline Healthcare Providers.
